Carnet is the term used for multiple tickets for same journey, usually batches of 10 though on some routes they can also be purchased as batches of 50, they are only available on selected routes.
They usually offer a saving over buying them individually but are based on the highest fares so are not always the best value unless complete flexibility is required.
They also need to be issued as traditional paper tickets.
