How do I find the name of the station I want to travel from or to?

If you are unsure of the complete name of the station you want to travel from or to, you can enter a few starting letters from the station name in the departure or arrival station fields on first Journey page of the booking process. As you type, a search will find all the station names containing the string of letters you have typed. For instance, if you type in "Lon" the search will bring up a list of London stations and all other stations whose name begins with "Lon".

Alternatively, you can make an alphabetic search by clicking on the search icon. this will display an alphabetic list of station names. If you then select a letter, for instance "A" then a list of all the station names beginning with A will appear. You can narrow the search down to by entering the first two or three letters of the station you are looking for. For instance, if you entered "Man" the list will shorten to show all stations beginning with Man. TIP: When there is a choice of stations at major cities and you are unsure of which one to use, enter the generic name (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter etc) and the system will do the rest.
