On some journeys, two or more possible routes exist (e.g. one via London or one avoiding London). In these cases you often see two or more tickets with the same name and different prices. The difference in price reflects different journey lengths or times. Often, the cheaper ticket has more restrictions. By clicking on the ticket name on the Fares/Availability page you can see details of any ticket restrictions. The route is also shown in this page. Click View to see a list of all the details of your journey including:
- departure station
- arrival station
- any changeover stations
- all times of travel
- the Train Operating Company providing the service
