Can I get a refund on a part used return ticket?

If a traveller chooses to only travel on the Outbound or Inbound of a Return ticket then a refund can be obtained on the unused leg of the ticket. The refund would be calculated by deducting the cost of a single ticket for the journey made from the overall cost of the return fare.
