Exchanging an Advance ticket

Advance tickets can be exchanged before the original departure time for a fee of £10.00 per ticket plus any fare difference. 


This can be done by retrieving the booking via the Order Manager, for eTickets the Outbound and Inbound legs can be exchanged independently or exchanged at the same time. 


Tickets booked as Ticket on Departure can only have both legs exchanged if the ticket has not yet been collected, once collected the Outbound and Inbound legs can be then exchanged independently but the original ticket will need to be returned to the TMC for a refund to be issued on that leg.


If you do not see the facility to exchange tickets please contact Evolvi as it may need to be enabled on your site.


Please note that due to the way some Train Operators categorise Advance tickets you may occasionally not be able to exchange the ticket, when this is the case a new booking will need to be made and the original ticket submitted for a refund as an Exchanged ticket to TARS.
