Whilst eTickets are available on the majority of the Rail network, there are occasions when they are not available, the main examples are,
Part of the journey involves travelling on London Underground, for example when crossing London from one station to another to complete your journey or if the ticket is booked to or from a London zone. Sometimes an eTicket is not available even if your specific journey does not appear to be crossing London but the ticket itself is valid to use on the Underground.
The journey is wholly within Scotland, at the moment Scotrail do not allow any tickets that they set the fare for to be used as eTickets, mTicket can be offered but with mTicket the ticket must be used in conjunction with the Evolvi App.
If you find a journey that does not fulfil the above criteria it may be that the Train Operator has not enabled it for that particular ticket type, if we contact Evolvi support with the journey details and the fare type you are trying to book we can contact the operator to see if they will enable for eTicket, please note that this can take a few days for it to be enabled.
